I survive on Special K cereal, my religion is horseback riding, and my soulmate is a Wacom tablet… oh, and above all that – family and friends.

Alternative metaphor aside, the facts are that I am a fifth year design student at the University of Cincinnati’s DAAP program and I am in love with visual imagery. I have a passion to express ideas in the most effective and attractive way possible. I find inspiration in nearly everything around me and I strive to learn as much as I can through exploration, teamwork and experience.

Sweet Pencil is me, Amanda with a drawing utensil, ready for action. I’m just about to graduate college and can’t wait to jump into the challenging field of freelance illustration. I have a strong passion for detail and line art and have interned at over six design firms. All of them have taught me what it takes to form an idea into a full blown illustration, design, website, logo, or marketing campaign.
