the giant grim wolf and the girl in crimson Apr 21, 2011by amandaAdd Comment

Will she live? Don’t ask me. The illustration is rather dark – not my usual ponies and cupcakes that’s for sure. Despite this, I have hope for her yet. Maybe in this story, this girl, who is not Little Red Riding Hood, is in fact a sorceress or a woodland fairy or a nymph who likes to cavort through the forest in a ginormous red cloak and has some secret power that will repel the wolf last minute. Maybe. Or maybe she is just some girl sneaking out to visit her forbidden boyfriend? or her Grandma. You decide.

Also, incase this was something of interest, I thought I would post some images of my process for this, just so you guys get a feel for how this kind of thing comes about.
