To answer your question, sir, igonberry jam is correct according to Broder Cafe's menu (http://broderpdx.com/) check it out. Haha though I honestly have no idea where that berry comes from or if it's real or if that's a fancy made up name...or perhaps they forgot to put the L in front of it. Who knows!
Happy to see you reading my blog, and yes I will def have to check out some more Miyazaki :D

Dearest blogger. I am a food lover and cook for personal enjoyment. I have randomly come across your blog and have been sampling your food delicacies (and life-adventures).

First, I would like to say, CONGRATULATIONS on seeing Princess Mononoke. It is my favorite movie by the Artist and Creator of that movie, Hayao Miyazaki. If you enjoy Disney/Mononoke Hime check out more of his work!

Secondly, in your post about...

" ..ordered Aebleskiver, or Danish pancakes, or cute, mini sized balls of sweet, soft dough that I picked up with my fingers and dipped in lemon, igonberry jam, .."

Please elaborate on igonberry jam. A google search with variations of "recipe" and such bring up minimal sites which my anti-virus has alerted me as trying to infect my computer with a Trojan virus.

Is Igon berry supposed to be Lingon berry? They are a berry that is in the Swedish/Norwegian region, common to that area, that would easily fit the description of the food.
