the perfect dress Feb 24, 2009by amandaAdd Comment

Talking to my mom this weekend about Marie got me to thinking that I really want to go dress shopping. I thought I might be able to reuse a dress I already have for my cousin’s early May wedding, but it’s fun to go look anyway! So I went out today to none other than Anthropologie (I LOVE every single thing in this store from the shoes to the sweaters to the silverware and pajamas). I grabbed about 10 dresses and went to try them all on. Each one was beautiful, but the minute I enclosed the silver blue zipper of the dress pictured below, I knew I had to have it. Luckily it was one of the ones on sale (the only way one can buy clothing in Anthropologie is if it is on sale, unless you want to spend mucho mulah on one piece). Coincidentally, another girl of about 16 was trying on the same dress and when I asked if there were any twos left on the rack, I soon discovered that this girl had on the only two. Thankfully she also needed a smaller size and so I snagged the perfect fit.

I absolutely love the colors and the embroidery. What more could shout Manda than pastel and songbirds?
