I’m now helping a team at Barefoot redesign a website! I will be doing some research and mainly developing icons for several categories within the new navigation. My supervisor thought my style would be a great fit for the site’s new look! :)

I’ve been at Barefoot for about 2 months and I’m still picking up things. I’m excited now that I can witness  how the design of an entire site is handled in an agency. From the concepting to the production phase, there are so many people with different skills and so many planned steps involved that its easy to understand how they pull off such a huge process. Although I’ve gained a lot of knowledge though classes and other sources, I’m glad to finally experience the flow of designing at a professional place of work.

Also, I’m almost done re-coding the navigation of my portfolio site! I’ve been debating on how to display video on my site and think I’m going to go with a flv player which is simple to use. Other than that, all I have to do is reduce file size and all that jazz so that my site isn’t super slow. Almost done!
