photography studio Jul 10, 2008by amandaAdd Comment

I’m into my third week of co-op, and I’m actually enjoying going to work! (who would’ve thought you could enjoy work? haha) So far I’ve designed some banners, laid out a booklet, made frames out of rolled up magazine paper, concepted ideas for new articles, searched pictures and gone to a photography studio! At the studio, (OMS photography) I got to observe and take part in how a client works with photographers to achieve the look and photo they are aiming for. So much detail was given to every single prop in the picture. Even the pea in a bowl of soup was arranged to look just perfect. And that’s how all of the pictures turned out, perfect. Being a part of that kind of collaboration and working with people who have such artistic insight allowed me to see how a photography studio functions. So far, it has been one of the best experiences I’ve had at this job,  and other than that,  I’ve already started to pick up on how a design company like Barefoot works and have really enjoyed seeing the process that a team like Home Made Simple goes through every month to produce their newsletters and website updates.
